Hi

The game I'm working runs fine but  the compiler won't compile it.

The compiler says the line is too long.

If EE means line 238, I don't see why the line's too long to compile.

Hello Robin,

It's hard to debug a program with just a screenshot of a piece of code, but anyway. I think the QB compiler has a 255 character per line restriction and even though it might look like your line contains less than 255 characters it may actually have more. Put your cursor on line 238 and press the END-key to see how many characters your line actually contains. Also, check out lines 237, 236, ... a lot of old compilers have difficulties pointing out the exact line with the compile error.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jelle

The file is broken. It's an old game. Some lines are missing and incomplete at the end of the program. That's why I didn't see it at first untill I played it untill it stop working.

Now, it works just fine and the game can be compiled without problem.

Thanks anyway Jelle.
