Well, actually I was the one that recorded the video, and Chris was kind enough to host it. I don't think anyone deserves all the credit though. The collective of Sierra fans deserve most of the credit. For keeping Sierra alive in their hearts for all these years.

Yeah, I had mentioned that to Frans already, but yes that is correct, I am just hosting the file, Mike recorded it.

Hi!  I'm new here and was trying to view the Video Game Invasion clip but, unfortunately, I'm working with dial-up (nobody laugh!) and have to download the clip, not view it on-line.  Anyway, I downloaded it twice and the audio is fine but the video is scrambled -- do I need a codec for Windows Media Player or something?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

Yeah more info on your os/player would help us understand what is going on.

And if we can't help you I would wait for Mike Haley to respond since he is the one who made the video.

RDSF: I modified your profile, I put the link to your site inside of url tags so the link is now clickable.

WMV (Windows Media Video) is a Microsoft format. So, I don't understand why it wouldn't be working in a Microsoft player. Here's what I've tested the video on though:

Microsoft's Windows Media Player 9.0
DivXNetwork's DivX Player 2.5.3
RealNetworks' RealOne Player 2.0
Nullsoft's Winamp 5.0.

The video works fine on the players listed above. You may just need to update your copy of Windows Media Player. Try one of the other players I listed before you update though.

Just thought you should know the video even plays on a Windows 95 OSR2 equipped with Windows Media Player 6.4.

If I may just plug another website here (this will be my only post on the forum so I'd better make the most of it) :):
